Activate or Suspend Devices
The IoT.live Portal allows administrators to activate, suspend, and manage device connectivity across supported providers.
These actions are typically performed using connection native modes within the Inventory Management module.

Suspending a connection may immediately interrupt live device connectivity and operational services.
Activate a single device
To activate an individual connection:
- Open Inventory Management
- Locate the required device
- Select the connection
- Open the native mode controls
- Select Active
- Confirm the operation

Suspend a single device
To suspend an individual connection:
- Open the device record
- Open the native mode controls
- Select Suspended
- Confirm the update

Activate or suspend multiple devices
Bulk operational changes can be performed across multiple connections simultaneously.
To perform a bulk update:
- Select multiple devices in the inventory table
- Open the bulk actions menu
- Select Change Native Mode
- Choose the required operational state
- Confirm the operation

Apply filters and saved searches before bulk updates to reduce operational risk.
Verify operational status
After submitting the update:
- The request is sent to the provider platform
- Synchronisation may take time
- Device status updates may not appear immediately
