Export Data
The IoT.live Portal allows you to export operational and reporting data from multiple areas of the platform.
Exports can be used for:
- Reporting
- Offline analysis
- Customer sharing
- Billing review
- Operational auditing
- Integration with external systems

Where exports are available
Data export functionality is available across multiple modules, including:
- Inventory Management
- Batch Operations
- Audit Trail
- Billing and Invoices
- Search results
- Reporting views
Export displayed results
Most tables and operational views support exporting the currently displayed data.
To export data:
- Apply any required filters or searches
- Select Export
- Choose the export format
- Download the generated file

Supported export formats
Depending on the module, exports may be available in:

Exports respect the currently applied:

Export large datasets
Large exports may take additional time to generate depending on:
- Dataset size
- Applied filters
- Historical range
- Provider integrations
Some exports may generate asynchronously before becoming available for download.
Very large exports may be limited depending on account permissions or platform configuration.
Data handling and security
Exported files may contain operational or sensitive business information.
When handling exported data:
- Store files securely
- Restrict access where appropriate
- Follow internal data governance policies
- Avoid sharing credentials or sensitive identifiers externally
Exported data is subject to your organisation’s security and compliance policies.
