Search & Filtering
The IoT.live Portal includes powerful search and filtering tools designed to help you quickly locate devices, accounts, usage records, and operational data across large deployments.

Search tools available
Depending on the module you are using, the platform supports:
- Quick search (Omni Search)
- Advanced search
- Filters and filter panels
- Account filtering
- Column sorting
- Saved searches
Use Omni Search
Omni Search provides fast searching across the currently selected module or dataset.
You can search using:
- ICCID
- IMSI
- MSISDN
- Device identifiers
- Tags
- Customer names
- Account information

To use Omni Search:
- Enter a search term
- Press Enter
- Review the filtered results
Partial matches are supported for many search types.
Filter data using the filter panel
Most operational pages include a left-hand filter panel that allows you to narrow displayed results.
Common filter types include:
- Status
- Provider
- Tags
- Rate plans
- Usage categories
- Account scope

Filters update the displayed data dynamically.
Filter by account or sub-account
If your organisation uses multiple accounts or sub-accounts, you can filter results using the account tree.
The account tree allows you to:
- Navigate account hierarchies
- Restrict visible data
- Focus on specific customers or business units

Sort table data
Most data tables support sorting by column.
To sort data:
- Select a column heading
- Choose ascending or descending order
Common sorting examples include:
- Usage volume
- Activation date
- Device status
- Last activity

Combine filters and searches
Searches and filters can be combined to create highly targeted operational views.
For example:
- Active devices in a specific region
- High-usage devices on a specific provider
- Devices assigned to a customer
- Recently activated SIMs
Combining filters with saved searches can significantly speed up day-to-day operations.
Clear filters
To reset the current view:
- Clear the search field
- Remove active filters
- Reset saved filtering criteria if applied
