Edit or Remove a CDP Account
Administrators can update or remove existing connectivity provider integrations from the CDP Management area.
This allows you to:
- Update provider credentials
- Modify connection settings
- Replace expired authentication details
- Remove unused integrations

Edit a CDP account
To update an existing provider integration:
- Open CDP Management
- Select the provider account
- Choose Edit
- Update the required settings
- Select Save

Common updates include:
- API credentials
- Account identifiers
- Endpoint configuration
- Provider-specific settings
If provider credentials are rotated or changed externally, update them here as soon as possible to avoid synchronisation failures.
Validate provider connectivity
After saving changes, the platform validates the provider connection.
If validation fails:
- Review the credentials entered
- Confirm API access is still enabled
- Verify provider-side permissions
- Check network or endpoint availability

Remove a CDP account
To permanently remove a provider integration:
- Open CDP Management
- Select the provider account
- Choose Delete
- Confirm the action

Removing a CDP account disconnects the IoT.live Portal from the provider platform and may stop synchronisation, lifecycle operations, and usage updates.
After removing a provider
After deletion:
- Existing synchronisation stops
- Provider-managed operations become unavailable
- Historical platform data may still remain visible depending on retention policies
Removing a provider integration does not automatically delete devices or subscriptions from the underlying connectivity provider platform.
